Hi I purchased a horsefield tortoise yesterday however ever since my tortoise looks very unhappy it constantly goes to the edges of its table trying to climb out and spends most of the day in a slumber I've given it plenty of food and given it a good habitat but it still looks very unhappy can anyone help.

Give him a few days to settle in. And try not to bother him too much, I know that is hard. it takes them a little bit to settle in, he will probably hide more alternating with times of restlessness. Everybody here likes pictures :)graduations on your new tortoise, I have a Russian tortoise and they are a lot of fun, great personality.

Probably not the problem, but you do need to get the proper uvb lighting and heating light or ceramic heat emitter.
