View attachment 42069Hey, I have just about finished the outside setup just need to put the top on.
I found out though that my back yard is completely shade by 5 pm. I hope that's going to be ok. I can't place it in the front as people would likely steal him. Anyways what do you think?

A few hours of sun is good. 8 hours isn't needed. The more the better of course but i think you are fine.
My leopard pen is in the shade by about 4pm.

Tell me where you live so I can go in you back yard and steal your cage! Lol yeah it's definitely pretty cool I'm hoping to build something like that soon.

I am still working on the raining portion but I think I am going to build a dog house style with that sulcata heat mat. The heat mat is weather resistant so should e ok inside a dog house. At the moment I am just pulling him inside when it cold.

I see, this is for a sulcata, right? I find the different reactions to rain between my sulcatas and my russians to be entertaining. My sulcatas run for cover whereas my russians are all good with it.

And nice bar-b-que, I've got the same one I think.

The top portion is on hinges swingers up and down for easy access.
This is for a leopard tortoise 2 year old.

Rough looking still almost done

It's actually for four different species. It's 30 x 30
