Hello all. I'm earl I live va.beach VA.
I'm getting ready to build my new tortoise a wood enclosure and I was wondering if pressure treated wood was safe for this build. I will have it lined with plastic but not all the way up. Thanks in advance for any help or wide open to suggestions!

I would use untreated wood as the treated wood has pesticides. Also how old and how big. My kid enjoys a 55 gallon Rubbermaid dub and it has a lid so help with humidity

Hi Earl! Welcome to the forum! I agree that non pressure treated would be better unless you can line it fully. What kind of tortoise do you have?
