For those of you who didn't read my other thread, I have adopted a new tort. It was found as a "stray" by someone who didn't know much about them. I'm still unsure if its a boy or girl. I will post some pictures later on after he/she settles down a bit. I will also get measurements and a weight. He's really friendly and was very calm on the ride home. He loves for his head to be rubbed and responds when you talk to him.

I will post plenty of pictures after he settles down a bit. But here are a couple that the guy who found him took.

Well, I couldn't get its tail to untuck to save my life. Those are some strong muscles! I got a picture of its belly and I'm not sure if you can see it but the belly is convex.

Sorry I meant concave. XD

It looks to be a male to me. He looks like he is in pretty good shape for being a "stray"

Yea. Thats what I thought too. The pyramiding is about 3/8 in high. His skin was a little dry, but nothing a few soaks can't fix. I'll grab a measurement and weight a little later today.

What is with the stray Tortoises? Mine was found on the side of the road. At least yours has his face intact. Poor Schlomo is a circus freak. But I love him the same.

Awww thats so sad Sandy. :( But Bowser is just fine. Dehydrated a little and his skin was dry, but good in every other way.
I'll try to get some good pictures of him this weekend along with a weight and measurement. I was going to do that today, but by the time I got home he was getting settled for the night. XD
