New tortoise identification

Hi all! Yesterday I was given a tortoise to keep and I still can't determine what type it is. can someone please help me? I have two pictures of it here. It 2 years old.

Thanks Dan. What type of climate does it need. I bet here in Malta is fine for her as we have the same climate as Tunisia. And what about the type of food it requires? I have a hermanni hermanni at home too. Does it eat like the hermanni? I put them together and the older one went to bite the new one. I immediately removed the new one from there and put it elsewhere. Why is that?

The resident tortoise is protecting his territory from the new tort. But you should quarantine any new animal for 6 months or so, and you shouldn't mix species...

Greeks and Hermanni eat vertually the same foods and are kept at the same temps.

The Greek and Hermann torts have about the same diets as far as I know. Someone should elaborate on that soon. What do you feed the Hermann?

Agree to never keep them together and they need completely separate enclosures so they don't come in contact with each other. Only if they were exactly the same species, and after a six month quarantine period to see if there are any health issues that crop up before the old tort got sick too, should you ever put together two torts. Even being together a short time the new tort could have already got the old one sick...

Has the tort been checked out by a vet with a fecal test for parasites? How are you caring for it? Best wishes.
