New tortoise owner

Hi everyone, just brought my mrs a tortoise (horsefield) and got some basic advice around what to feed from the guy in the shop. I took to the internet for more research and have found lots of conflicting advice. I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a good dos and donts feeding guide. Thanks.

Hi, and welcome to the forum!

Russian tortoises are browsers, meaning they eat broad-leaf plants and weeds...maybe a bit of grass if it's new blades. We have a good Russian tortoise care sheet pinned at the top of our Russian section, and it lists some plants you can feed your new tortoise.
