Received these stunning hatchlings from user deadheadvet (Evan) this Thursday. Very healthy and amazing colors on them.

Thanks Evan! I definitely recommend anyone interested in pancake hatchlings to follow Evan. And, Evan, if you have any other hatchlings of the same or different species to offer, please let me know as well. Thanks again and great job on these pancakes.

They are beautiful. The first and third pic. What did you do to make them look like that? It's pretty cool even if fake:D

Fractalius, a Photoshop plug-in that extracts and highlights fractal texture of an image. Most images used are furry or feathery animals.

I applied it to my pancakes, because the shell and skin patterns are incredible.

I had always thought that pancakes are ugly. Honestly, that's how they look in pet shops. Dried up, dirty, and weird looking with their flat bodies stacked up in the corner. But after seeing these healthy hatchlings, I've completely changed my mind. They have great personality, very friendly, not afraid of me at all.

Thanks for for the nice words. We'll see what happens this fall when my female will typically lays.

I where do you live that you see them in stores? Also how much do they cost? I might have to get another female for my female and help lower her stress with my male.

I live in Florida, so occasionally, the local pet shop will have adult pancakes. But, I highly recommend that you get them from trusted forum users who actual breed them. CB torts are the way to go.

What's the parameters on your tank heat variation wise as well as humidity?

Not sure, I don't use meters. I've raised different torts for a while now that I can simply wing the parameters without using actual parameters. I make sure that the coco substrate is moist (not wet) and there is always a heating (with thermal gradient) and water source. They hangout in the outdoor enclosure during the day nowadays and sleep in the cozy indoor enclosure at night. I guess living in FL helps.
