New user! Own a horsefield

Hello
I am new to this and done a lot of research on the computer and in books before buying my horsefield tortoise! But just have a few queries and wondered if anyone would be able to help?!?
How much weight should a horsefield tortoise gain a month I don't know how old she is but I was told 3 months when I bought her and had her for 3 months?!
Also she isn't very active at all she doesn't like being out and will just walk straight back into her hide! Any hints or tips would b appreciated!

There are many factors that determine their growth rate. It can vary wildly, so averages are really meaningless. I have 20 babies right now. Some are growing very quickly, others hardly at all.

Babies hide and sleep a lot.
