It's very rewarding to see a tortoise with a good appetite!

What all is in that lovely salad? I think I see some fruit. Russian tortoises really shouldn't have too much fruit. It causes a parasite bloom, something Russians might be leaning towards anyway, without the fruit.

She get's fruit in her salad once a week, she's crazy about her food. This was fruit day, mixed greens, a little apple, a little kiwi, and carrots.

I would keep fruit down MUCH more. Russians enjoy some fruit, but they do not break down sugars like we do (correct me if I'm wrong, anyone). I have only fed my Russian , whom I've had for a little over a year, fruit about 5 times. I am not saying that is the suggested amount, but keep it down to maybe once a month, with the amount shown in the image you provided it is a treat.
