The family and I where at a local reptile expo. I had already bought what I was planning on getting which was a quartet of Russians, a pair of Eastern Box turtles and 2 Halmahera skinks. When I was at a friends booth and my girls fell in love with a little Sulcata that was born blind. It is 2 months old and thriving but how will it do on it's own should I have bought one of it's clutch mates? I will post pictures tomorrow...

In all honesty a clutch mate would not be any help to it, a blind tortoise can live on it's own fine, it just requires a little more attention.

Its a good thing you didnt buy another one as they do better by themselves or in groups of 3 or more as long as there is room for all of them. I dont have any experience whatsoever with blind tortoises so hopefully someone else will come along that does and give you some good tips to use.
