Why would somebody who lives in AZ, be trying to find homes for sulcata tortoises in Omaha, Nebraska?

Arizona, especially Phoenix, seems to be completely saturated with sulcatas. Maybe the seller is having trouble getting rid of them in AZ, so is posting ads in other states??? Especially if they are babies... It seems like there are 100 baby sullies for sale on Phoenix CL right now.
He knew you would see it, and think, hmmm someone close would come in be them and get a warm up along with the torts.

That's very strange. I'll bet he put up ads in more than Omaha's area too. Like was said before, he probably couldn't find takers in AZ.
I'm sure he came sell them here in as. Or he got in trouble for the shape they were in. Very common.
Why would he do it... IMHO... a combination of greed and stupidity. Hate seeing people who obviously don't have the animal best interest in mind when making more and more of them... sigh
