Oh Brains

Brains doesn't get the concept of sound traveling. I heard an awful lot of commotion coming from his enclosure. This is what I found

I saw him flip over a couple times today doing this:(
He was able to right himself each time, but I guess I'll have to block off these corners now, and try to flatten out the tarp, so he has nothing to get his nails in.

Oh boy... you do have your hands full!! Let's hope the new babies aren't getting any funny ideas from brains. Lol.

If there were a tortoise juvie home, Brains would be a permanent resident:D He's keeping you on your toes for sure:D

Maybe you could put a pot or some sort of decorations in the corner to lure him away from escape mode :D

Haha, fun! 2 of my RTs think they are half monkey. They kept trying to climb the corners. I solved this by 1.) eliminating the corners by putting flower pots or rocks there and 2.) putting a securely stacked pile of rocks in the MIDDLE of the tort table, for them to scramble up and over. I also created 'Mount Coco' - a mountain of coco coir that goes up and over a large flower pot.
Maybe that would help prevent yours from flipping?
