ok to set up before

Hi I don't have a tortoise yet. But I have almost all the stuff for the enclosue. Is it ok to set up an enclosure early? To test things like temps and humidity? To get plants well established? Thank you

Yes it will save you time and money . Tell us the type of tortoise and we can help you do things right.

I want a testudo , Russian or hermie not sure yet . I have read every care sheet for both, I will take pics when I get it set up for critiques :) which I take well and follow:)

That is actually what everyone should do. Set it up and do test runs so you have the temps and humidity correct for when you do get your tort.
