Can't sex Benny yet, but thankfully haven't had any flashing, yet. So gender neutral still. ;)

Thanks for all the comments/compliments. I really love Benny's look too. Developing spots on the skin now around the neck and top of the legs (won't let me get pictures though)

I don't know if this would be considered a blonde. Maybe a more veteran keeper could answer that question?

I'm hesitant to call any Leopard "blonde" until it's past the 12" mark. I've seen some that go through a blonde phase but then look totally normal after a few more inches of growth.

Thanks for the clarification. Guess we have to wait a bit longer to see where we end up :)

He is very light. If he stays that light even past the 12-13" mark...personally, I'd refer to him as a blonde or high white. ;)

Some perspective shots of Benny during his bath today. New growth continues to come in mostly white with some black spots.

I have also noticed that his plastron has started to concave into his body - so I'm preparing for the dreaded flashing :(
