why did this happen?

and whats up with all the color changes of different usernames? it looks like it changes daily.

Ignore the Forum Team page for now. Our moderators haven't changed; eventually two will be added.
The colors did change daily - yesterday. They won't be changing any more.

Well, Mark hasn't even been officially added yet, though folks noticed I was placing him in different user groups. Mark and Kristina (kyryah) will be the two newest. Yvonne, Jacqui, Robin, and Danny are currently our moderators.

You'll get the hang of it quickly enough. You just have to try to keep the peace and don't let folks get too rowdy, ban the spammers, move posts around and into the correct topic threads. I also try to answer every post that shows "0" replies so that whoever wrote the original post doesn't think we're ignoring them.

Just play it by ear. I'm sure you'll do fine!

I'm confused what are user groups and how would someone find out that information?

The Forum Team page lists some of the usergroups.

On the forum's home page, down towards the bottom, right-hand side, there's a group of things you can click on..."log out," "mark all forums read," "forum team," "forum statistics." If you click on "forum team" you'll see all us BIG WIGS who have something to do with the day-to-day running of the forum. There are some folks who moderate, and some folks who help with the development of the forum.
