What can I provide for the mating & breeding of my Russian tortoises?
I have 1 male. & 1 female.
They show interest, effort & action.

Keep them housed separately so the female is not stressed to illness or death. Tortoises should not be housed in pairs, specially Russians. Then you put them together under supervision to breed during the best breeding time.
Be sure they have all the correct temps, humidity, diet, enclosure size, all the correct housing and care requirements that are all found on this forum.

In addition to what Wellignton said, you could get another couple of females and house them as a group in a large enclosure. Be sure you are brumating them over winter too.
