Was riding around today and spied an ancient clump of opuntia,sooo I did what any good tort keeper would do.We stopped and picked about ten gallons of huge fruit.Freshly singed and scrubbed.

I'm not sure if they will freeze and thaw well,I hope so.We vaccuum packed 15 like this.

And of course the bunch upstairs got some.The ancient one enjoying a peice.

If anyone has any tips on the best way of keeping the fruit,please share!

Wooo hoooo jackpot!!! Maybe they will be a little squishy after you freeze them, but I doubt the torties would even notice!
