Hi,

Does any one have any good tips on making a tortoise outdoor enclosure? It’s for my 3 9 month olds and they have outgrown their old one. I need to get some wire mesh as they are small enough for birds to get them. And they are good diggers and nearly escaped their old one by helping each other dig a ditch under the wall. A bit like The Great escape:D

Thank you

Not yet, still planning it. It’s gonna be an ultimate tort run!!!
Aahh. Okay. Well then here is a tip. Make sure you bury your fencing quite deep and maybe put some underground wire on the inside for about a cm or two or ten, that is make a lip but under the ground. That way if they dig, they will hit the wire. And then give your fence a lip at the top as well that way it should be difficult for them to climb over.
