Our Mo likes to eat. We're feeding him a rotation of collard greens, wheat grass, spring mix salad, and kale. Will keep rotating different things in and out. Been feeding a pile of torn leaves twice a day, and he's getting through them pretty well. I've seen numerous posts on here about WHAT to feed them, but not many about how much.

Should I just be presenting him with unlimited amounts of food and letting him graze as he pleases? Or limiting him to a certain amount? Will tortoises gorge themselves?

Thanks for your help.

Feed like you have been. If he has a proper size enclosure he won't get over weight. If he is in too small of an enclosure where he doesn't have much room to roam and explore, he could get over weight. The solution would be a bigger enclosure, not less food.
