When I soaked my tortoise 2 days ago, i saw some sort of thick mucus over his mouth. 
Its been quite hot lately 88f at night and 100f during the day. Humidity is 60-80%. My little one is at an outdoor enclosure with plenty of shade if he chooses not to bask.
Soaking is being done twice a day 45mins each time.
