Paranoid (dehydrated?)

Hey guys just wanted to know if you think my baby indian star is dehydrated. She has a soak for about 20 mins each night

Does she have water available in her enclosure? Is she urinating? What makes you think she may be dehydrated.

She looks good to me. Is she; eating, pooping, drinking, walking around, basking and resting in her hide box away from her basking area? Is she active? Do you have a culture sheet?

hey, yeah she is eating though she seems to eat more in the morning than the evening, she is pooping, has a hide where she can get away from but she seems to like to lie under there all day.

Omg, she is cute! It is less about how they look and more about how they are acting. I don't keep star's but everything you have described sounds good.

Always best to soak in the moring and than feed her. Get her system moving (poop out, food in). Being hungry in the morning is a good thing.

If she's getting soaked 20 min a day she's not dehydrated. Just make sure she always has access to water and a cool spot to go to so she doesn't just bake all day.
