I'm planning to give my group some Peruvian ground cherry/cape gooseberry (Physalis peruviana) soon. Didn't know if anyone else had tried this or if there were any concerns?

Diced couple of them the other night and put into my babies' salad, they ate some, but didn't pick every last bit out to eat like they do with papaya, "cactus pears" or some other fruit. I think it maybe little "too tangy" for them.

They are rather sour/tangy but it will be a new treat.
Thanks for responding!
