Phil keeps climbing up into my lap lately.
While sitting cross-legged, If I put my hand down next to my ankle and have it angled like a ramp, he'll climb onto my hand and up into my lap.
He may just be exploring or looking for a place to sleep (sometimes he'll try to burrow where my knee is bent), but regardless it feels to me like he's my little buddy.
