Spring is in the air and Levi the leopard knows it!

I was hosing down the patio and he came over to investigate.

Of course he has to walk over my feet, turn, ram my ankle then circle around to get me again...

After I walked away and headed across the yard he stated searching for me. No joke!

What did he do when he found me? Rammed me.....

    ..that's my boy!

I can't believe he'll be 6 this spring. Time flies yet it feels like forever, too.

Team Gomberg Spring certainly is in the air for those of us in the PNW! Even the local talking head on TV said no more winter for us, and paid $ six figures and can always be wrong!! And that rodent, Phil ? He’s only correct about 30% of the time and people still believe that superstition. I’m gonna stick with how it looks feels and how the tortoises act.

Wish I could say the same for up here! There’s still snow and sup freezing temps in New England. I couldn’t even think about bringing Jasper outside, I think Phil’s right about the weather, at least for up here!

Hi Heather! Do you ever miss having a bunch of tortoises? I think it would be hard for me to have just one. Levi's growing up to be a fine-looking animal!

Hi Yvonne :) thank you. It's a good thing he's pretty, it makes up for his attitude!

...I really don't miss having multiple tortoises. Shocking. I know. But I enjoy Levi plenty. Not to mention I have a few other critters to fuss over. ;)

I'll be starting up my own business next year. Just chose my name, designed the logo and will be getting a website up, too. I'll be doing an educational petting zoo (like I used to do before having kids) and Levi will be one of the animal ambassadors! :tort: I'm very excited to be getting back into it and I think Levi will do great.

Spring? We are still waiting for a little bit of winter. Its 90 degrees in my back yard right now and its been in the 80s almost every day since October. Warmest "winter" I can ever remember.

Awesome, haha. We just had a bit of a snowstorm today yet Stevie has been very active indoors and getting fresh with his favorite rock. It's spring in his mind but he's got a long way to go before mommy's garden thaws and grows back! :p

I’m liking the future trend at the bottom. And this was at 8:50 pm or so.

Oh boy do I remember those always warm winter days. And I don't miss them! I've grown quite fond of 60° weather myself.. But for Levi's sake I'm glad it'll be warming up. :tort:

Wow, in the 55s! That seems so far away. It's 14°F here now (single digits this morning)...

My son is in Forney, TX and we're always comparing weather. I'm so glad I live where I live (Ask me again in the middle of summer when I'm dying of the heat)

40 days to official Spring. Don't doubt we're to have some lousy weather yet and as usual part of it will be between Spring 1 and May. Need snow ONLY in the mountains but not so much Spring rain as we usually have to endure below.;).

Some would say I spoke too soon when I suggested that winter was done and that it’s officially spring. This morning I woke to 1/2” of slushy snow melting. IMG_1519022797.109556.jpg
And more snow is on the way. I still say it’s springtime.
