I have accumulated a lot photos and video about my Hermanny (Balkan) tortoises.
Now I know - they are Dalmatian tortoises (Testudo hermanni hercegovinensis).
HermanniChris, thank you!
I will be a few of their lay out. Maybe someone would be interested.
So I start!
Spring, 1st of April. Tortoise got out from the hole, in which spent nearly five months.
The hole was dug in the open place, although bushes and trees were close.
In winter in Croatia there ara constant enough heavy rains, almost tort wintered in mixture of water and ground.
It is seen that the appetite is very good after sleeping!
