We decided to give Vegas access to 85% of the back yard and this will give him more room to graze and enjoy. These are a few photo's of him enjoying all the extra space...

We section off a small section because we have watermelon growing and one section because we have pumpkins growing and other than Tejas and Honey's enclosure, the yard is all his to enjoy..

Thanks, he is not perfect but I am okay with that. The top of his carapace is getting smooth from all the burrowing though...
Its amazing how their enclosures are alway getting bigger and bigger and bigger...
Seems like I can never give them enough room... I'm planning an add on to my enclosure too. There is a weedy patch right below their current pen and I want to envelop it and make it part of their pen.

I so know, his pen was so small at first now we have almost given him the whole back yard... We did it so he could have access to more grass and weeds like what you plan on doing with the weedy patch...
He looks happy!
