Ditto on that yvonne.

Theyre 4 species.
Arachnoides arachnoides babies 350-500
Arachnoides brygooi babies 350-500
Arachnoides oblonga babies 650-1000
Arachnoides plaunacauda 1000-1500

This all depends too. They are not common so price is usually what ever is asked. Sometimes higher or lower. Beautiful torts and fun.

Why is the oblonga subspecies more expensive than its aracnoides and brygooi counterparts? I don't see much shell pattern and variation, is it just a matter of rarity?

oblonga and plaunacauda are southern regioned and critically endangered. The oblonga have different plastrons and some carapace pattern diffetences. The plaunacauda does not have a hinge. Hence they are called flat tailed or back.

Well everything really in madagascar is critically endangered. But yes oblonga and plaunacauda are more rare. As well as different care and more difficult to breed and hatch out. It took 298 days for some of my oblonga to hatch aftet 9 diapose sessions.

I dont know I can see the difference.

Of the two the left is P.A.A and the right is P.A.B
And of the three is all P.A.O
