Trying out the picture thing.

Can't get his picture as he is dug in under the log underneath the light -- he likes it better then the half log hide we bought probably will remove that for more space.

This is convenient; I was posting a thread asking people for pics of indoor enclosures for some inspiration, and then when I took the link back to the forum I saw this.

Are those live plants?

That's a really pretty habitat. One suggestion, though, dig the waterer down more into the substrate so the turtle doesn't have to climb UP to get inside.

Thanks for the advice this is my first turtle -- I will fix the water dish -- I watched him all day to make sure he could access in and out but its a good idea to get it lower for him.:)

Yes they are live but I am not sure how they will do as this is my first setup with live plants and my first turtle so I will see how it goes. I got a list off the forum of what was safe. They are Croton, Dracena, and then a birds nest fern in the corner by the half log and then just pet grass by the pool area. I got them all for $1 each on clearance at Lowes and then cleaned off the soil and washed them to be sure no chemicals.:)
