Pink urine?

My female tortoise excreted pink urine today. I've had her for almost three months, and it's never happened before. Is this something serious, or can I solve it without going to a vet? I don't have much money, and I'm not sure whether or not I can afford a vet visit.

If I absolutely MUST go to the vet, is the cost of the medicine/procedure needed to fix the problem expensive?

Do you feed dandelion to your tort? Pink urine is usually a result of a food item consumed.....I would not run off to the vet for that

Yep, probably just excreting pigments from all the plants she's been eating, like dandelions. Happens all the time. Perfectly normal.

No, he's never had dandelion. For the last two days he's had romaine lettuce. The day before that he had spring mix.
