Pink urine?

My female tortoise excreted pink urine today. I've had her for almost three months, and it's never happened before. Is this something serious, or can I solve it without going to a vet? I don't have much money, and I'm not sure whether or not I can afford a vet visit.

If I absolutely MUST go to the vet, is the cost of the medicine/procedure needed to fix the problem expensive?

Do you feed dandelion to your tort? Pink urine is usually a result of a food item consumed.....I would not run off to the vet for that :p

Yep, probably just excreting pigments from all the plants she's been eating, like dandelions. Happens all the time. Perfectly normal. :)

No, he's never had dandelion. For the last two days he's had romaine lettuce. The day before that he had spring mix.
