My tortoises started decimating the violet I planted for them and since I didn't want it to get eaten up in the first few days, I found a simple solution.

Yeap! Mine bulldoze my plants too! So no more pretty foliage plant in their terrarium. They might just have to live with weeds and grasses dug up and transplanted from the garden

In my outdoor pens, I encircle the cactus and plants with slumpstone blocks.

That's a nice idea. I might have to do something similar once I get my torts enclosures done and you know... buy the tenants.
