Is this weed plant the plantain? Since the rain in California I have been looking around to see what I have growing. I’ve been chopping and trying to pot in pots to confine the growth once it gets cut down.

That is not narrow leaf plantain. Its one of the dandelion family weeds and its great tortoise food.
