A home made incubator works just as good as long as you can maintain and monitor the temperature.

Just be sure to use a slightly damp, not ringing wet substrate such as vermiculite, hatch right, perlite or even coco fiber. You dhould be able to squeeze the substrate without any water coming out.

The eggs can't be rotated after 24 hrs as the embryo adheres to the top of the egg where there is an air bubble. You could always candle the eggs(shine a light on the egg) to make sure the embryo is on top.

Ive got them vermiculite substrate and I also have my thermostat hooked up to the heat source and I've got the probe inside with the eggs as well as a separate thermometer to just to be safe and it's been holding these temps???
