Problem of early signs of gender

the picTure attached is horrible but my redfoot has and indent in his plastron it's not huge but he doesn't even have his first growth rings yet so I wouldn't think this is early signs of his or her genderimage.jpg

I really don't think this is anything to worry about. Just be sure to keep him well-hydrated and living in a semi humid environment.
