Is it too soon?

To find out the gender of my tort? He's 6 months old. I have attached pictures. If it's too early how old does he have to be until I can tell?

Forgot to add - he's a Russian tortoise. We call him be but really have no idea his gender.

Way too soon. Some males will show themselves around 2-2 1/2 years. Some much later. If it's going to be a female, it's more like 5 years before you get say for sure female.
Sorry, you got a few years yet.
