Pumpkin Carving

Tonight was pumpkin carving at the Stage household. Good quality family time! This is my masterpiece that I made for my daughters. Sophia the first for all you parents out there. Everyone got in on the pumpkin mood. My two babies reeled the rewards from the festivities. Here they are enjoying the leftovers and some wheat grass.

My grandson decided to make a typical 'middle school aged boy' pumpkin - with pumpkin guts strewn from the gourd's mouth - the delight of Sully!

We did it here tonight too. I have three grocery bags full of pumpkin guts! That's going to mix really well with my three bags of grass clippings over the next few days!

I didn't take any pictures but my adult Russians absolutely destroyed all of the large chunks that we removed. I dropped them in and within an hour they were gone. It's like crack for my tortoises. [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]

I use a five gallon bucket of food daily. So if I use one gab mixed with grass daily, I'll get three days out of it.

Yes, I keep it in the fridge.
