Pyramiding is caused by growth in conditions that are too dry, so you need to make sure your humidity is relatively high (around 60-70 for an adult Hermann, and 80-100 for a baby), you have a deep, damp substrate, a humid hide, frequent soaks, and be sure to wet their shell multiple times a day.
