Questions about Russian tortoise

Hello! I got a Russian tortoise yesterday. She is about one they think. I got her from a vet that someone just left there. This is her full day here and she is just sleeping under the heat lamp. She ate yesterday but today hasn’t touched it. Am I doing something wrong here? She will just stay in the corner. Does it take time for her to settle in? image.jpg

Read the caresheets and make needed changes.
For example, water dish needs to be changed out for a large clay saucer. One he can fit into.
Your gauges need to be lowered to tortoise height.
The enclosure looks very small for a Russian that looks much older then 1.
A 4x8 foot minimum for an adult Russian.
Post a pic of the tort next to something to compare its size too.
And again read the care sheet for more proper enclosure info.
Yes, they need time to adjust, specially if it's older like I think it is.
