Ok but 5 years u say? And isn't it were there is a indent in there plastron? To tell if it is a male?

Males grow faster, have a concave plastron and their anal notches are flat and narrow. The anal notches of females are rounded (egg-shaped). Your tortoise's anal notches still are shaped like a V, not allowing us to have a definitive answer, but if I had to guess I would say male.

Too young to tell on this one and the photo is too blurry. Need a clear pic of the anal scutes and tail to make an educated guess. The concave plastron is an indicator, but it shows up at different times. One of my males was very concave at 3 or 4 and the other was flat until about 8 years old.

It's more of a size issue then an age thing. He needs to be bigger to sex...
