hi everyone!

So i got to thinking the other day, I'm a dog groomer so I constantly come home smelling like dogs lol. Do you think my tortoise notice the difference? I know they have a decent sense of smell, but wasn't sure if they could tell a 'predator' was on me lol

They act normal, was really just curious what you all thought ?

I think that they have an advanced sense of smell.
But I don't know if a dog smell would be good or bad.
It might confuse them if you smell differently from one day to the next

I don't think they would realize it's a predator smell unless they've had a bad encounter with a dog before.

One of the first things I do when I get home is to check on them and say hi then straight to the shower haha. They seem to be more visual with me, but i do catch them sniffing me from time to time lol

Good point. No bad experiences that I know of for either, and they have never been near our 2 dogs, I just wondered if they had some sort of instincts for it lol
