They are so great. My wife was given one by a friend a couple days ago. I was pretty excited about it, since this was her first turtle of her very own, to go with my 28. We are loving the little guy thus far.

Very neat. I have an albino res and a southern painted. I've been looking for a 3rd aquatic turtle and like the look of these. I'm going to look into them and see if it fits the bill for what i need.
Thanks for sharing!

These guys hold there own with other turtles, they live with dbts and do fine. They also a great swimmers, my tank has a lot of logs and such they can climb up but most the time they will swim up

Wow! Stunning! What an incredibly beautiful habitat. Are DBT's Diamondback Terrapins? How big do the razorback musks get? How big is that tank? Looks enormous. I've never had water turtles, had a friend with a Reeve's turtle; loved him!
It's very tempting to find one for our home now...
I found a musk turtle once, a stinkjim, like the size of a 50cent piece. He Was so stinky! I moved him off the road.

Yes, I'd like to know how big that tank is too. What kind of filtration do you use? And I'm guessing those are live plants?

Thanks guy, that tank is actually only 50 gallons. It's shorter and wider then most tho, the razors are very small only 3 inches tops right now. It's all real plants and all real wood. They do live with two diamond back terrapins which will hopefully be moved to either an 80 gallon tank I have or a pond depending how my situation is this summer. The filter is actually just one I made for the tank, it gets the job done, the waters tinted cuz the real wood in there, and live plants. Razor backs stay fairly small. 4-6 inches 6 inches would be pretty huge so I believe

Great looking turtles and set up, I have been looking into Musks but was under the impression that the razorbacks were rather aggressive with each other?

Nice those look like northern diamond backs. I keep, northern, southern, and concentric diamondbacks, and love keeping them.

Wow thats an amazing setup! Im too afraid to put my little guys in my planted tank, I dont want them to tear it apart! How do your turtles do with the plants?
