Red on skin?

Hello thanks everyone for all your help.:D. A few days ago donatelo got these red spots under his arms/font legs. He also has some on his neck. Is this normal? what is this?

No, those type of spots are not normal...does this tort walk/exercise regularly or does he tend to lay at rest more? What is his diet? Is he housed alone/solo tort?


also, does this tort flip himself alot? Struggle often to right himself ?

I haven't seen that before on here. I wonder if its rubbing when he walks in a way that's not normal? Hopefully someone will know. Answering the questions asked might lead to some answers for the spots. Hope all is okay with him.

He's the only one in the tank and when he does flip himself over he doesnt even try to get up- maybe because he knows ill help him- he loves to run and is very active. These spots are new though.

I think i have found the problem!!! I watched really carefull as he walked and i know that he has pyrimiding. The bottom of his shell has been kinda sharp and appears to be scraping his legs as he walks
