What’s the material used on the enclosure and are you worried about warping?
It's 19mm plastic all round then sealed all around edges. I wanted to build one but I'd just moved into first house and didn't have time or space to let it air out and trying to find something to make wood 100% waterproof and safe for tort is proving difficult. If it doesn't last then will have to think off something else.

Mines a juvenile I've had him since January. I used a xmas tree storage bin I got at Wal-Mart. Now that winter is over I'm making an outdoor spot for him. Cinder blocks are only a $1.50 at home depot.

It's a beautiful enclosure, I was looking at the boa snake enclosures made out of pvc but heard they warp. Right now I am using a Xmas tree storage bin. An outdoor enclosure wouldn't be safe right now. The weather is too wonky here.

Mine live outside in the 'rain forest.'

If you look closely, you can see the T-posts with drip pipe along the tops. Every 5' or so I've plugged in a sprinkler-type drip emitter. I turn this on every afternoon in the summer and the rain forest is quite comfortable in our over 100F degree days.

In the winter they have to be locked up in a shed, but I have a tube type UVB light in there and pig blankets on the floor. If it's not too cold, I open the door and allow them out into a smaller area just for exercise.

So far so good but it's only been 4ish months, I could depend on build quality, this Viv seems pretty strong, the back is 19mm plastic and a support at the front half way across seems to be doing well. Whear about do you live? I got no chance in England having them outside.

I am actually in Pennsylvania, USA. The area where I live isn’t safe for outside pets. My tort is small so keeping her/him indoors for now keeps my anxiety levels down.
