I think(?) I got it now! [ well almost ]...

It looked like this the end of March -

1BEFOREoverall.jpg

All "walls" were torn down.. starting from ground zero. The fencing was kept and all posts were replaced [ with pressure-treated ].. and dividers are of "Borite"(?) treated 1/2" paneling from friends with "portable-building" business. Wooden 2x4's were used for ease of attaching/stapling requirements.

And looking into the "Northern" half of the enclosure from the gate corner.

The Rose-of-Sharon were just starting to "bud". Leaves were blown and raked into a big pile in the corner of the back yard - to be used later in the K.erosa enclosure.

Will show progress as I download pics to PhotoBucket....

Hi Terry. What is the white stuff the actual enclosure is made of? Is that vinyl or corrugated metal? I see a pen like this in my future.

Tom the "sight-barriers/walls" for the redfoot enclosure is vinyl siding.

The main "update" was for the K 'erosa enclosure and new 'dividing-wall' between the Northern and Brazilian groups.. and new hides for them both!

Well tilled and covered with 1" rich-black compost with collard/dandelion seeds lightly 'raked' over. [ they are sprouting great.. btw ]

Closer view of hide and dividing wall -

From 'shaded-end' -

The 'long' side of the K. erosa enclosure is 27' and the 'shady' side is 14'. It's right at 4' wide overall.

The 'divider' almost complete.. viwed from Northern side -

All of the "sight-barriers/dividing-walls" are 17" tall.

The Rose-of-Sharon are really doing well this spring.. many are 6-7' tall now.

Pics of their new hides and finishing touches as soon as possible. It's beginning a light rain now.
