Hello all, I got myself a pair of 9-10 inch Redfoots early summer, and set up an awesome cinder block enclosure, with lots of plants and hides. Now that it is time to get them heat at night i would love some input from everyone. Can I heat them an insulated house within their enclosure outdoors, like I do my Sulcatas, heat emitter, and pad with a rubber flap doorway, or do they need to come in? I am hoping to set them up out there, but alot I read online says most people house them indoors.

I would love all advise. Thanks : )

I am not familiar enough with Sacramento's winter to know what to suggest. If no one else pops up to help, try http://www.tortoise.org to find someone locally who might help.
