Morning!
Are flood lights good for redfoots? I’m swapping the basking lights for my African species, and wondered if the redfoots would benefit from these too? TIA.
No...Redfoots live on the forest floor so it is not bright light they get. It's shaded and humid. But 100_0286.JPG do benefit from some sun...

I agree. Redfoot usually stay away from bright lights and high heat. Both make them uncomfortable.
My group comes out of hiding first thing in the morning. Eats. Swims. And they all dissapear right after the full sun comes out.
The exception is if they're being fed or if it's a cloudy day.
