Hi all. One of my Egyptians (about a year old) has a white dot on its shell that is either paint or whiteout (that I believe the breeder put there to identify the tortoise). I was wondering if there's any way to remove the paint/whiteout that would be safe for the tortoise and not damage the shell. If there's no safe way to do it without damaging the shell I will just let it be. Many thanks.

I'd leave it alone. There's an excellent chance it'll soon be gone anyway
