Rf health concerns

Hey I am looking at red foots as a tortoise. But I was wondering if there is any major health concerns you guys could let me know of. Like shell rot.

They are prone to shell rot, but mostly if kept on damp surface. They also need high humidity. The easy way to do this is to moisten the bottom substrate while keeping the top dry. You can do this by pouring the water into the corners of the enclosure. Others may be able to tell you if there's more.

Closed chambers are great for upping humidity. I have a couple shown below in my signature.
