Helped this Eastern Box turtle across the road today, I can't believe how many people cursed and me for delaying them a few moments.

Good for you. All the people having to wait a few seconds, while you save a life, that I'm sure would have been lost to being ran over on purpose or not, are all in a big hurry to get no place of importance, most likely. Glad you didn't let them throw you off of your mission.

You found an eastern box turtle out in the wild?! It's my hope I see one here in Michigan some day! I recently helped a family of duckies cross the street by my house. I mostly escorted them because people do not like to stop at those stop signs. Jerks. Thanks for saving one of our little cuties out there. We need more people like you! Hugs!
