Hello everyone we are looking to grow the awareness of our rescue. We are a local non profit tortoise rescue operating out of Alberta. Our mission is to help tortoises and turtles in need throughout the province. And to provide proper care information to existing tortoise owners through our websites care sheets. As a rescue we take in surrendered tortoises and often pay a fair price to take tortoises out of unfair circumstances.

Hi our rescue has been functioning for 5 years more incognito than it is now as we’re just bringing our rescue out more publicly. Information on our website is a mixture of personal experience and research along with information contributed to us by tortoise specialists. Hi, we’re located in Edmonton Alberta. Elevation about 645m. Not in the physical Mountains. We have multiple indoor enclosures as well as ourdoor enclosures for the summer months. Being a rescue all our torts are kept under the proper temperature and humidity levels as all those variables are controllable. In reality we are lower in elevation than the majority of the southern United States. The high elevation effect on tortoises happens around 2500m. Being that all of the tortoises Who come through our rescue have lived in Canada and most being hatched in Canada this is all they have ever known. Please know that our tortoises are under the absolute best care and there’s no need for concern.
